Terms of service

Last updated 2 November 2026 · Between you (the contractor) and Black Layers Corp. ("TradeSixty", "we").

What you get

Alex, an AI phone assistant, calls the leads that come through your connected form, asks the questions you approved, books appointments into the calendar in your panel, and answers calls to your TradeSixty number. You get a panel with every lead, recording and transcript.

Trial and billing

• 14-day trial, no card required. If you do nothing, the account simply pauses at the end of the trial.
• After that, month to month, billed in advance through Stripe. Each plan includes a number of minutes; minutes above that are billed per started minute at the plan's rate, at the end of the month.
• The founding price stays for as long as the account stays continuously active.
• Cancel any time from your panel or by email. Service runs until the end of the paid month. No refunds for minutes already used or for the current month.

Your responsibilities

• Your form shows our consent text to everyone who submits it, unchanged. Alex only calls people who agreed to it.
• You do not use Alex to call lists, cold-call, or contact anyone who did not ask. We will suspend an account that tries.
• What Alex says about your business comes from the facts you give us. Keep them true.
• You are responsible for showing up to the appointments Alex books, and for your own licences and permits.

What we do not promise

Alex is software that listens and speaks. It will sometimes mishear a name, an address or a time. Every call is recorded and transcribed so you can check. We are not responsible for a missed job, a lost lead, or a customer's decision. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is the amount you paid us in that period.

Phone numbers and carriers

Numbers are provided through our carrier and stay with us. If you leave, we will help you forward or port a number where the carrier allows it. Carrier outages are outside our control; we will tell you when we know.

Data

Your leads, recordings and transcripts are yours. You can export them. Our privacy page explains what we keep and for how long.

Changes

We may change prices or these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Founding customers' price does not change.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
